Shabba's story

Retrology was created to bring back the feeling of the 80s and 90s: the music, the fashion, the dancing, the togetherness and the kind of atmosphere that makes people smile as soon as they walk in.

For founder Shabba, that love of music started at home. His mum would play songs around the house while she worked, and he naturally found himself moving to the rhythm. It was never forced. The music became part of him.

Years later, after going out and feeling that too many nights lacked the right music, food and atmosphere, Shabba and his partner decided to create something better. Retrology became their answer: a food-inclusive retro experience built around quality, style, joy and real connection.

Shabba describes his style as swaggerific, fashionista and super cool. That personality runs through the brand: the sound, the look, the hosting, the food and the crowd.

His aim is simple: make people feel happy, secure and part of the Retrology family.
